Viv's India is an Australian wholesaler specialising in designing Indian travel packages, run by Viv and Peter Craig. It is also a subsidiary of Viv's Travel Bug, an award-winning Australian boutique travel agency, which has been operating since 2003.
We believe that memorable travel experiences stimulate all the senses - and India is a delight with spectacular sights, exotic aromas, delicious foods and a symphony of diverse and intriguing sounds.
Being different is our forte. We try to find the path less travelled, where the wildlife is untamed, the hill tribes more primitive, and the temples, forts and palaces less-frequented. We are your India travel specialist, tailoring trips to best suit your tastes. For some this will mean 5 star hotels, river cruising, luxury trains or ayurvedic/yoga/spa treatments. For the more adventurous try a walk on the wild side with our tiger, camel or horse safaris.
Our tours are crafted from personal experience. Viv has visited India on numerous occasions and attended SATTE (South Asia Travel and Tourism Event) Expos many times as well as GITB (Great Indian Travel Bazaar) and the Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha Travel Marts. In addition to her own substantial personal knowledge (having visited 11 national parks), she has developed a network of valuable contacts and associates within the Indian travel industry.

India has so much to offer and is a truly unique travel destination. They have been transformed by their experience of the culture and the people, and wished they had done so earlier.
India's natural attractions range from deserts to the magnificent Himalayas and mighty river systems. The many colourful cultural and religious traditions and festivals of Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Jains are an attraction not to be missed. Travel in India can be confronting. There is extreme wealth and vast poverty. The way society functions is vastly different to Australia and the regulations can create complications.
Nevertheless, for all its barriers for western tourists, India is a 'must see' destination. A recent tour group that Viv took on a land and river cruise package had many misgivings but came back having enjoyed themselves immensely. The WOW factor is easy to find on any visit to this amazing country.
